Welcome To Scholarship Section
Scholarship is a type of financial help given to the students. Different schemes of Scholarship are run and governed by the Centre and State governments. Each scheme has its own eligibility criteria and amount of scholarship, as decided by the governing authority. The student must satisfy the specified eligibility criteria of the particular scheme under which he/she wants to avail the benefit. Most of the Scholarship Schemes are available on different Scholarship Portals and students can apply in the online mode.
The amount of scholarship is directly credited to the beneficiary account under the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme of Government of India.

TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIP :
1. National / Central scholarship(s)
2. State scholarship(s)
3. Organizational scholarship(s)
4. Departmental scholarship(s)
5. Institute scholarship(s)
GUIDELINES :
1. One student can avail only one scholarship.
2. The amount of scholarship will directly be transferred to the account of the student under the DBT Scheme. In any case, payment will NOT be done by cash or through cheque.
3. The bank account used for receiving the amount of scholarship should be in the name of the student; the amount shall not be transferred to the bank account of guardian / relative / friend.
4. The bank account of the beneficiary of the Scholarship is required to be Aadhar seeded.
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SCHOLARSHIP :
1. Form duly signed by the applicant
2. Bonafide Certificate in NSP Format (for NSP Forms only)
3. JEE Score Card (for MP-MMVY New Forms)
4. Disability Certificate from CMO (in case of PWD)
5. Income Certificate (NOT Form 16)
6. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
7. Domicile Certificate
8. Aadhar Card
9. Fee Receipt
10. Bank A/c details
11. 10th & 12th Marksheet/Certificate (in case of Fresh Forms)
12. Grade Cards (if applicable)
IMPORTANT POINTS :
1. Bonafide Certificate is provided by the AAA section.
2. Bonafide Certificate, in NSP format duly completed, has to be sent to the AAA section aaa@iiita.ac.in to obtain the signature.
3. Fee receipt can be obtained from the Accounts section.
DOs AND DON’Ts :
1. To apply for any scholarship fill and submit the form before enough from the last date of submission.
2. Do not fill the forms in hurry or carelessly, as corrections may or may NOT be possible after final submission of the form.
3. Do not hesitate to ask if you are in doubt, clear your doubts completely.
4. Read the instructions on portals, notices and circulars carefully and completely.
5. Read the instructions sent through e-mail carefully and completely.
6. Do not take the information given to you lightly; it is for your well being.
7. Keep your contact details updated in the institute records so that, if required, you can be contacted.
8. Keep checking your in e-mail (IDs provided by the Institute), as it is the only source with us to send you the information relating to scholarship.
9. Submit complete form and set of supporting documents, as early as possible after submitting the form online, to avoid any delay.
10. Do not send the forms by post and do not submit it by hand in the institute until and unless asked for.
INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIPS :
A. INSTITUTE MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP
> Cumulative Average of SGPI to two semesters only, per year, respectively should be equal to or above 8.50.
> Parental Income should be less than Rs. 5.00 Lakh per annum.
> No. of Beneficiaries - upto 3% of the total strength in individual program
> Quantum of Scholarship p.a. - Rs. 36,000/-
> Installments : I C.A. of 1st and 2nd Semesters only
B. INSTITUTE MERIT INCENTIVE AWARD
> Cumulative Average of SGPI to two semesters only, per year, respectively should be equal to or above 9.00.
> No. of Beneficiaries - upto 2% of the total strength in individual program
> Quantum of Scholarship p.a. - Rs. 36,000/-
> Installments : I C.A. of 1st and 2nd Semesters only
* The students who will be awarded with Merit Incentive Award will NOT be eligible for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship.
